More motion types
It seems like everyone is into motion graphics these days. It used to be hard to find good examples of motion typography in this area, but this doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. Among the reasons may be the prevalence of cheaper tools such as After Effects and Flash, as well as opportunities for web publishing on sites such as YouTube or on online portals like Motionographer. Motion typography is popping up everywhere. Here is a sample of some pieces currently doing the online circuit in all the places you would expect to find this kind of work, and in places you wouldn’t.
Short film Tread Softly by Heebok Lee, motion graphics designer.
SCAD student Jarratt Moody’s motion graphics assignment, a conversation from Pulp Fiction, the pies is called Intonation.
Motion Theory’s work for Nike and the HP Hands series which uses Processing.
An info piece for MTV.
